Another question for uk applicants of non-oa retirement visa. The UK disclosure and baring police background check is too big for my A4 scanner .. how did you deal with this? Just scan as much as you could ensuring key elements like name address were included? Or…?
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
UK applicants for a non-OA retirement visa are facing challenges with large police background check documents that do not fit standard scanners. Suggestions include taking photos of the document, using scanning features available on smartphones like iPhones, and possibly uploading multiple files if the application allows it. Alternatively, users can merge scans into a single document using various software tools. Overall, various practical solutions are shared by community members.

Can you not upload multiple files? I'm pretty sure the visa application (albeit not a retirement visa) allowed multiple files to be uploaded. If that is the case then name them xxx1.pdf, xxxx2.pdf etc.
Other than that there is software out there to merge separate scans into 1 document - Google search will show you.
