you can get a work permit with a marriage visa but not retirement … otherwise the same except for 400k or 800k in bank . Retirement is easier at immigration

Garrett - Provinces marked as a dark-red zone are placed under the strictest of restrictions which includes curbs on inter-provincial travel. This is from Thai Govt FB page.

no restaurants open in bangkok / pattaya / rayong . Beaches are closed and patrolled with over zealous whistles .. some beaches are barricaded shut… not much point in a holiday here - maybe better in other areas
