I am going to return to Thailand. I had a retirement visa that has run out due to the Covid problems in the last year. I am married to a thai national and want now to get a marriage visa when I go back to Thailand. Nearly all my money is in Thailand and there is more than enough to meet the requirements. On what visa should I enter, will a 60 day tourist visa meet the requirements to then apply for the marriage visa. Or has anyone got any advice as I don't want to enter and find out I cannot apply for the marriage visa. I am a uk citizen. Waiting for Thailand to show signs of improvement with Covid before I go back. I am 65 years old
TLDR : Answer Summary

There are suggestions from the community about options, including applying for a Non-O visa or a tourist visa first, followed by an application for a marriage visa after entering the country.
