I'm the same. I find listening to radio, watching random lives on here for cooking or beauty products, watching thai soaps and having anything thai on in the background as often as possible really helps. You start to understand some repetitive words and tones and the uses of them. It's slow but real talk rather than learning from an app. Repetition and writing phrases down phonetically works for me. Ajarn is brill. There are so many teaching jobs available you won't need any help with agencies. Lots of opportunities throughout Thailand, depends where you want to be based.
This week my third booked flight (November) was cancelled. I'm still going to keep booking when I see a good deal, but making sure they are fully refundable or changeable 👍🏽
Booked with BA. Would usually go with Qatar or Emirates for miles and comfort, but had vouchers. Still ablr to change and has good flexibility. Planned for November so hoping for the best. Seems forever away!
