I'm heading back in January and have had flights booked, cancelled and refunded many times over the past 18 months 😒 but now finally have a clearer plan. Flights booked 🙌🏽 hotel research ongoing (my faves closed during covid 😭) and asq for 1 night planned. I've used chronomics on 3 holidays since covid started and they've been fine and reasonably priced. Seems like a massive faff right now, but will be so worth it. Cannot wait. Good luck with your planning khar 🙏🏽
Loads of jobs around, you'd rarely struggle if you meet the minimum requirements. Some good agencies and websites about too, just do some research 👌🏽 check areas, types of schools that would match your experience, and ensure you teach the right age group for your level of skills. 👍🏽
I'm the same. I find listening to radio, watching random lives on here for cooking or beauty products, watching thai soaps and having anything thai on in the background as often as possible really helps. You start to understand some repetitive words and tones and the uses of them. It's slow but real talk rather than learning from an app. Repetition and writing phrases down phonetically works for me. If you find a great app or resource please let me know 🤩
Ajarn is brill. There are so many teaching jobs available you won't need any help with agencies. Lots of opportunities throughout Thailand, depends where you want to be based.
This week my third booked flight (November) was cancelled. I'm still going to keep booking when I see a good deal, but making sure they are fully refundable or changeable 👍🏽
