ORIGINAL POSTERHi there. Does anyone have any advice for me, I would like to go and teach English in Thailand. Does anyone know of any schools or anything that are looking for teachers, even substitute teachers just so I can get a foot in the door. Or if anyone has any other advice on how I can get over there.

Loads of jobs around, you'd rarely struggle if you meet the minimum requirements. Some good agencies and websites about too, just do some research 👌🏽 check areas, types of schools that would match your experience, and ensure you teach the right age group for your level of skills. 👍🏽

Just an addition to the degree requirement. It must be certified as ligitimate, and notarized by your university. Too many were buying their degree from the fake document sellers on KhaoSan Road. Now it must be certified as being ligit.

Due to Covid you need to come to Thailand first. You need to have a bachelors in any discipline to be legally hired. If your under 40, a native speaker, free of a criminally record and have a degree you’ll have no problem finding a job once you’ve landed in Thailand. Get a police clearance before you come.
