I called my local embassy about this and they said we’re allowed to work remotely with a soft power application. They said to upload supporting employment docs. That said, every consul and embassy is different, so it’s worth contacting yours before applying.

My local embassy says you’re allowed to work remotely with the soft power route. They encouraged me to add employment certificate and payslips as non required supporting docs.

well, I called my local Thai consul today and they indeed confirmed we can work remotely with soft power visa. So you’re spot on.

I only have a certificate of employment and statements, which I was planning to use as supporting docs for my soft power visa if asked. I don’t think my employer can provide registration or permits.
