Can anybody confirm that submitted documents can be screenshots and not physical paper scans?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus is that while some may use screenshots for submitted documents, it is not the preferred method, and most embassies expect scanned physical documents or PDFs. Users recommend printing and scanning for safety, noting that screenshot submissions may lead to a request for additional documentation. Also, keep in mind the maximum upload size of documents which is 3MB.

What complicates things is that the maximum file size for attached documents is 3MB so a couple of scans, and you can't upload them

What kind of document would you send as screenshot.

I think most documents involved you will have on paper or as PDF.

The PDF you can upload, and the paper you can scan as PDF normally.

Depends on the embassy. Screenshot is not the preferred method. Expect an additional document request.

I’d print and scan with your phone just to be safe.
