Thailand needs to be absolutely clear on entry rules now. We all know the requirements never changed but the new visa exceptions is a ? Cause if you were here last year for a 180 days in a calendar year by their own rules perfectly legal, and now if you go back in after a year they say you over stayed the new 150 days rule that was just put into place makes no sense. Thailand said your visa exceptions start over every calendar year what does that mean ? A year from the first time you entered last year not January to January. So confusing so they need written rules for the immigration officers to follow. Even if you get a tourist visa you can be denied on your previous 180 days in the last year and it’s up to the immigration officers in front of you. A man and wife on YouTube left Thailand and went to Vietnam went back to Thailand and the husband went to one immigration officer and got in his wife went to a different immigration officer and got denied but travel together so the system needs clarity so everybody knows for sure.

, I’ll say again Thailand laws were put into place by Thailand. Last year you could stay in country for 60 days on a visa exemption get a 30 day extension do a border run and start the process all over again for a total of 180 days a year by Thailand law. It was Thailand law not made up Thailand set that law. Now if you try and go back in after a year now they all of a sudden they come up with this 150 days only and are trying to use that against people who stayed in Thailand for 180 days last year but it was there law that they created. If Thailand only wants people to stay in country for Two weeks then why do they over the 60 days exemption and a 30 day extension. It’s totally BS. You follow the law according to Thailand policy and then you get punished for it. That’s some crazy crap.

, if you follow the Thailand laws to a tee, say last year you could stay up to 180 days a year what laws have you broken ? You stayed the amount of time the Thailand law allowed so you broke no laws. If Thailand don’t want people to stay for the whole amount of time they offer then why in hell do they offer that amount of time in country to start with. Makes no sense at all.
