The Correct answer has been posted here several

Times - obviously call the embassy - they do answer and the info is on the web site ... maybe the admins should anchor a post at that top re - fit to fly , covid testing - quarantine hotels and the list of acceptable ones - covid insurance -elite visas - countries you can enter from and the basic overall

Cost of entering Thailand 🇹🇭 and paying for all

That and the quarantine ... it seems to be asked answered and heaps of snarky and unhelpful comments cloud each query ... the process is simple and straightforward.

go to LinkedIn and search Thai firms and recruiters there ...you can also consider creating a company and exploring that side of things - create a shell and sell your own services etc ...

Have you been to Thailand ? Spent time anywhere ? What kind of degrees ? In what ? Work experience ? What work do you give that doesn’t displace a Thai worker ? Your best bet is to have more of an idea on what you want to do ... or be...

I think that the problem to be addressed is the hopeless feeling of being broke with no evident recourse - obviously the investment failed and he has no savings and no job prospects . Whatever we think about how this happened, the pending issue is that he needs to get somewhere and get work or go on the dole of the country he comes from - since embassy’s no longer repatriate ( used to be they would loan you enough money to return home and stipulate repayment in x period or dock pay or taxes) and obviously the legal obligations are not a reality and long past counting on - so why bother poking at that wound?

it’s time to call friends , family and maybe create a Kickstarter or go fund me to get the funds needed to get somewhere safe before he winds up eventually in immigration prison and deported - which if crafted correctly is another way to return home - if you have the stomach for 11 days in the hole 🕳 - it’s a nasty little holding cell , open toilet in middle of room filled with about 75 people per cell... but one way “home “... assuming you don’t call thailAnd home ...

Having no money and saying it aloud is humiliating and speaks to the desperation of the situation , the way we get here tells us about our relationship to our prospects ... the only way out is to ask for help on your own social Media pages from your own people - and to have success -get a plan ! I need a plane ticket , I need a place to live ,I need a job ... I need help supporting my child ... figure out the sum, figure out the order of things , and figure out what your payback ability would be if at all ... then suck it up and ask your circle of friends family colleagues ... you have no alternatives - bank loan ? Sale of stuff ? Ask your sons mother’s family ?

This is hard - but it can be fixed - get past the company reimbursement settlement thing - that’s not going to happen- it’s lost ( if it happens it’s bonus) and get the numbers and a plan to put out to others - you will find the help in odd corners of your life - good luck ! You will be fine

It’s not that complicated but it requires you have a copy of your birth certificate , and you need you to present your mother’s “Tabien baan” . You need to do this in Thailand and it should be in the district the Tabien baan belongs to . You should speak thai , but it’s not necessary, you must have a relative that’s listed on the Tabien baan with you if possible and hopefully you were listed on it - if not you will be once the paperwork is issued , you will get a thai citizenship ID card , depending on your age you may have to register for military service , you then can apply for a thai passport - all of this is very quick if you have your paperwork filled out and a family member with you - your papers translated and certified lots of photocopiex etc ... it took my daughter no time at all ...

If you don’t have these things, then it becomes more difficult , and tea money is not in play for this ... you will

Need a thai relative in Thailand to work with you - they must bring all thier papers with them - you mother would need her id and passport too and both you and them need pgotocopies of everything !! And pasport photos .

In bkk the main office is Chaeng Wattana Government complex ... dont bother with agents and just get your number and wait !

There is a wAy to do this with some embassys but i only know the way we did my daughter - who was an adult ...

It was less than 2000 baht and you pick up your passport in two days .. it’s pretty straight forward
