I do not even think they exist. Immigration have been very hands off with the DTV. They took 6 months to issue guidance for extensions. I think it is common knowledge Immigration are not fans of the DTV.

I have not seen one post where someone was denied entry as they did not have an ongoing clurse

Would be interesting to know if any of the usual Agents in Pattaya handle DTV extensions such as Tiktok, Mots or Manirat.

You can own a car on DTV.

I am sure there are people that can facilitate this though. Driving schools offer a service for RC for vehicle purchase etc. Agents can get a RC next day too. No need to wait the 4 weeks. The place opposite Airport Immigration offers this for 1k

Anonymous participant When I left my last job 2.5 years ago I qualified for LTR. I should have taken it. Guy I am dojng some work with and I looked at BOI Smart S but easier ti open a companu in Singapore or UK. The Elite Visa is not worth it. You have the backup O which is good. Let's see how the wind blows with Anutin as PM. We may live in interesting times.

Anonymous participant As for moving from DTV to O I would not do it yet but yiu always have that option. Have you looked at the LTR and other visas? I think they are easier now. As you will know we'll things change in Thailand quickly due to the nature of the political scene. You have the option of "O" though.

Anonymous participant That is a big risk. The other banks do not seem to be acting as Bangkok Bank are though. If they are checking they are taking a more gradualist approach. If I was you I would take a months spending needs out as cash now.. Hope it all works out for you.

Is it a 2 year or 5 year license? Pretty sure you need a 5 year for IDP.
