Yes its possible as u dont need to show a minimum monthly income nor be employed/freelancing for minimum period. You just need to be able to demonstrate to the embassy that you are a remote freelancer somehow(supporting client letters/contracts work) and obviously have the required money in a bank account to show to them.
quoted similar when I enquired about my bounce with DTV! They misunderstood what I wanted! There is an agency here who does for approx 27k though but does not help with money or docs just puts it all in for u and deals with embassy
Home country as you are not officially supposed to have a permanent address in Thailand as will be a tourist with the visa. I applied in Hanoi and used Home Country address for perm, Hanoi hotel for current and Thailand address for address in Thailand. Hope that helps
