I have read the requirements on the websites for the DTV visa. It doesn’t say we need proof of a monthly amount if you’re coming to engage with soft activities. The only money requirement mentioned is the 500,000 in an international or Thai bank account.

Is this correct?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa does not require proof of a monthly income if you are engaging in soft activities. The only financial requirement mentioned is maintaining at least 500,000 THB in a bank account (either international or Thai). Multiple comments confirm that while some may not have the full 500,000 THB, they were able to provide alternative proof of income.
