It's just a question. The reason I ask is because the Thai government has made pretty sweeping statements about foreigners (not the Chinese of course), yet as far as I know, there hasn't been a single documented case of a foreigner having/spreading Covid-19 in Thailand. I'm sure that in actuality there has been many non-Thai's who have spread the virus, but look at how many Thais and Burmese went home on packed buses when curfew came around. When you haven't even tested 1% of the local population but are blaming foreigners as the primary source for spreading it, THAT is just silly.
You will probably be better served to get tourist visas if you will only be here six months or a six month SETV if your country has it available. The education visas require a lot of paperwork on your gym’s part and most gyms aren’t equipped to handle that kind of stuff. The nearby embassies have been really cracking down on ED visas too before the lockdown, especially for gyms/private language schools.
Just finished up at Chaeng Wattana and it is pretty much business as usual here for ED visas. Got here at 10:15am and it’s about 3:30pm now. Just waiting for my passport back.
Yeah figures it will get approved like literally the day of or day after I have to renew. 🙄 Oh well, its a good thing overall and about time. Hopefully things will calm down soon.
