great, thanks. And thanks for all your help whilst I've been here. You've answered a number of my questions over the years. Keep fighting the good fight 🙏

I'll not even need 7 days. Thursday 6th April I sign divorce papers. The same day or Friday (depending how long a divorce signing takes) and then Friday 7th I have a flight at just after midnight Friday night. I'll be outside of the 24hr deadline by about 12-15 hours.

My flights already booked too so if I didn't cancel my extension of stay I'm sure they'd just tell me off or fine me a few hundred baht.

Anyway, I'll go cancel it and see what immigration say about the 12-15hrs extra

Thanks everyone. I'm not 50 yet and will definitely leave Thailand anyway. Time to go home.

My main concern was the order to do things in such as:

1) sign divorce with the ex

2) head to immigration to cancel my ext of stay

3) get 7 days to leave

4) fly home and get ready to feel the cold (uk) 😋

@Tod ********
thanks. 'If' I don't cancel the ext of stay and just get out of dodge, what's the worst that can happen? I believe the only problem I'd have is if I ever applied again for another non imm visa, in which case I have no plans to anyway.

I just re-read your answer....My flight is at 0055 on Saturday 9th April. My ex and I will sign the divorce on Thursday 7th. So, if I don't cancel the ext of stay, I could be fined 1 day overstay?

great. Thanks for all the info. They didn't hand me one (now I know why) so I'll continue on my current 90 day clock and do it next month then. Thank you 🙏

thanks for this, Roy. I was not aware at all that I could continue using the previous/current 90 day timeline. My next 90 day is due next month so I'll file it in accordance with that then. Thanks for taking the time to add this comment. Very useful 👍🏼

@Tod ********
it's my 2nd yearly extension. Taking any extension out of the equation, my next 90 day report was/is due next month on 18 June. Thanks, I always thought any new extension reset the 90 day clock but I'll continue to file my 90 day as I was following for the last year then

Thanks. I knew something was missing. I didn't get that part stapled in my passport today but obviously know when today +90 is. Is the lack of this stapled bit going to be a problem? (I've previously gotten a police report for a lost 90 day report so can go do that again anyway)

Thanks all. This is like asking an immigration officer and getting different answers 😂

Also

d 🙄You said "he should check his last report". <sigh> READ my question. I stated I don't have the receipt. The online system is down so can't log in to see it. I wouldn't ask a question If the answer is there for me as easy as that.
@ ********
DM thanks, again as per my question, I stated I know re the police report but thanks for mentioning it again.

Anyway, I appreciate the honest answers and will see if Todd or anyone knows 100% rather than guessing. Thanks 👍🏼
