Quick question re 90 day report please:

My last 90 day was submitted on 16 December 2020.

It was authorised online on 18 December.

Is my 90 days counted from submit date or authorised date?

(I don't have my receipt so don't know the exact date....I know I may need a police report etc etc). Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The due date for the next 90-day report in Thailand is counted from the approval date of the last report, not the submission date. Based on the information provided, since your last report was authorized on December 18, 2020, your next report is due on March 17, 2021. If you lost your report receipt, it's advisable to obtain a police report as it may be required by immigration when submitting your next report.

okay, not withstanding the fact the O/P never went back into the system to print their 90 day receipt with their next report date on it.. :/

IF you got the email stating the report was approved on the 18th of Dec your NEXT 90 day report would be due 89 days from that date OR March 17th.

You can report in person 15 days before down until 7 days after (SO your window of opportunity is from March 3 until March 24)

now whether you'll need a police report stating you "lost" your 90 day slip is anyone's guess. I'd say get one (seeing as they're free at any police station) and that way you're covered IF they ask for one.

Thanks all. This is like asking an immigration officer and getting different answers 😂

d 🙄You said "he should check his last report". <sigh> READ my question. I stated I don't have the receipt. The online system is down so can't log in to see it. I wouldn't ask a question If the answer is there for me as easy as that.

DM thanks, again as per my question, I stated I know re the police report but thanks for mentioning it again.

Anyway, I appreciate the honest answers and will see if Todd or anyone knows 100% rather than guessing. Thanks 👍🏼

If its due date was December 18...

Then the next 90 day report would count from December 18, 2020...

And be due TOMORROW WEDNESDAY March 17, 2021

Ok, so with online reporting if it's done earlier, the actual due date is used to calculate the next reporting date. Unlike reporting in person when the start date is reset upon presenting yourself.

Wannikea Wanblee. I generally use online reporting. The next date is always 90 days from the report date, not the reply date from immigration, which makes me think the OPs next report date is March 16 (today), but he has up to March 23 to do it. After that date he gets a 2000 baht fine and a "you've been naughty" stamp in his passport.

James, I'm confused because you last said 90days from Due Date, that said after we both came up with 90 days from the actual date of the report being acknowledged by immigration on Dec 18th, he told us the actual due date was Dec 29th

Wannikea Wanblee. I don't know why he just doesn't look at his last 90-day report. It'll have the next due by date on it!

I'd say 18th like James mentioned, you are allowed to report 7 days late in person. I honestly don't know if it's from the actual online report date or the date it's acknowledged.

Its 90 days from the last actual date you reported not due date, so if you're reporting early or late its 90 days from that date.

I last reported on 16 Dec but it was approved on 18 Dec. So, per my original question, is it 16th +90 or 18th +90 then? Thanks a lot 👍🏼

Jason Matthews. It's 90 days from the date you last reported. If you did it online you should have the receipt with the next report date, but I'd say it's 90 from Dec 16, which means it's due March 16

it was due on 29 December but I did it early on 16 Dec just to save any Xmas problems. So I guess from your answer that the 90 day clock is from the due date, so would be 29 March? Thanks
