As you, admin, just saw on a previous post, I just got my Single entry Non O 90 day visa from Penang.

Can you help me? I plan to get my 1 year extension of stay based on marriage at Chaeng Wattana (I had to do this route to wait for the 400k to be in my account for 2 months).

I know I'll get a 30 day consideration stamp so do I need to ensure I allow 30 days before 4th May 20, when my visa expires, or could I go close to the 4th May, be stamped and then still be safe? Make sense?

I.e. CW 1st May, stamp until 30 May, beyond my visa date

(British citizen if that helps)

Thanks again

They are uncertain about the timeline for applying for the extension, considering the expiration date of their current visa and the requirement to have 400k THB in their account for at least 2 months. Just a quick question, can they apply for an extension of stay for 1 month first? This is to make sure that they meet 2 months deposit requirement before applying for a 1 year extension. Will they be allowed to get a 1 month extension on a Non-O marriage visa before a 1 year extension.

Thanks. Also, when applying for a 1 year extension of stay how many days they are required to have before the visa expires?

No, you get 90 days when you enter Thailand using this visa, you need money in the bank for at least 60 days, a little less then 29 days to arrange it. For the slow ones, you can apply for an 60 day Extension of Stay based on visiting family.

When you enter Thailand the Immigration Officer will put another stamp into your passport. 4th May is only the latest date that you can use this Visa to enter Thailand.

As you are in Bangkok you can apply for the Extension of Stay in the period between 45 days before and the Admitted Until date stamp.

Make sure you go when the money is at least 2 months in your account.
