i CheapOair not showing any listings on Skyscanner as they used to. I Fly around 20-30 times a year, long and short haul. I only use sky scanner for search, and then only book through a few of the big ticketing firms. Dubious of any others with cheap or otherwise unavailable seats. Although via Skyscanner, lastminute.com and Opodo, both are big names in the UK, score only 3 stars, so interesting to see that. I agree with the others though, often it is only £5-10 more direct with the airline, and any problems at check in are easily resolved in front of you. You don’t want to be calling an online booking agent when check-in can’t find your reservation.

not see the bad reviews of cheapOair on whatever search engine took you there ? Tens of thousands of bad, to mediocre reviews. The name says it all.

great, just checking, as you said you ‘had’ been tested, I’ve seen a few people claim to have been tested ‘before’. I’d hate to witness a man refused boarding at check-in, at the gate, or even worse, at immigration in BKK. Best of luck then 👍

Covid certificate needs to be less than 72 hours old, just so you are aware. Good luck 👍

don’t feel safe in country back home, don’t feel safe travelling back home, don’t want to take whats now a tougher journey, muiltiple flights, mask wearing, no refreshments etc. why not a lettter of ‘support’ if requested. UK same. I can in December with the intention of long stay, hadn’t decided on location before COVID struck.

in Daniels defence, with the first round of letters given, I think most people COULD have still found a flight or combination of flights home. It is still, today, just as difficult and unsafe to expect any human to make that journey, than before the shut down, if not essential. I understand the rules and limits of visas. But it is evident that thai immigration have relaxed a bit with regards visas. This would be more the case if you can prove your financial means of staying, (which nobody has ever asked me actually) and there is no actual need for you to return to you country, and your government can’t make you go against your will, the Thai immigration seem to have even ‘invited’ letters embassies, then why the refusal ?

you should try explaining that, and WHY, to the ‘very entitled’ members in the 2pricethailand group, complaining about land ownership etc. This is Thailand, they answer to nobody, ever, and could ask us all to leave whenever they feel like it. Kicking us on the way out 😂

Hi Mark, I don’t really have a point, just that the conversation was generally about farang SPENDING (justification for more visa extension perhaps ?) Much talk of 1000 baht daily, one gentleman suggested he’s spending 300 a day. I thought I’d share that my spending, and argue that we are not all poor, or broke. These lovely, kind, helpful gentleman, Ivan McAvinchey and Winand Delvaux kindly offered some advise, unaware that I am relatively resolved in my situation here, in that I’m enrolling in a language school. If I have annoyed anyone except you, who has not been so kind and helpful, I do apologise.
