Yes since they changed to wise. So for the last month, many not instant, around 10 minutes- an hour. The countdown would get almost to zero and reset.

My family did Uk to samui, pre covid, no isssues and lots to do if you have a long lay over. 🙂

1 year for international driving license. It’s 3 months if you just have your normal Uk license.

yep you can bring 10k either £ or $ please check, that is completely legal and aloud. You might have questions at the airport, but nothing too problematic.

Have you asked the bank how much, for large amounts it might be safer and easier to use them?

I transferred for my house using the bank in 2008, I can’t remember their charges but don’t think it was crazy.

I’m with NatWest and get better rate using my card then transferwise.

Transfer-wise I would trust completely. But will costs hundreds in charges.
