TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around experiences of flying from the UK to Thailand with Singapore Airlines. Multiple users share positive experiences, highlighting the airline's quality and efficient transit through Changi Airport. There's a query about current transit options via Singapore and whether flights with Scoot (a low-cost carrier linked with Singapore Airlines) are acceptable, with advice to confirm with the airline regarding baggage and check-in procedures.

Yes, I just travelled SG airlines and transit straight to thailand no problem. Changi airport are great and direct u with protected staff straight to next gate on landing.

I am looking at flights from LA to Bangkok via Singapore. The Singapore to Bangkok leg appears to be operated by Scoot (Part of Singapore Airlines Group) so I assume this is ok too?
