Everything else: any recommendations of an insurance company that covers diabetes type 1? Ideally from someone that has claimed and got reimbursed.

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around finding suitable insurance companies in Thailand that cover diabetes type 1, with insights from community members suggesting that diabetes may be classified as a pre-existing condition. One commenter mentions that their insurance covers doctor appointments but not medication costs, while another highlights issues with coverage from Pacific Cross.

Pacific Cross will not cover the 1 thing wrong with me or "related" symptoms. My is spinal so that covers whole body related

Yes i have diabetes type one as well. It's a German company, I don't know about their policies regarding non-Germans but you can ask them. They're called HUK-Coburg

here in Thailand, if you have diabetes, that will be a pre-existing condition and likely excluded from any coverage.
