I managed to open one with Bangkok bank, they wanted a certified copy of my passport (from the British Embassy). After that it was just a load of paperwork at the bank I needed to fill in.

The quarantine rules are changing in the 1st April. There are some infographics in one of these groups about it.

I believe it is being cut to 10 days for certain people

agreed. Its just annoying that the British government doesn't recognise this.

IMHO this is more to stop the Social Media influencers jetting of to some hot, tropical destination, posting pictures and saying it is for work
