Has anyone done a Non O Thai family visa in Vietnam?
It appears that this is the last remaining Embassy to get a multiple entry visa.
Laos only had a single entry from the pricing

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the process of obtaining a Non O Thai family visa from Vietnam, emphasizing that the Vietnamese embassy is one of the last places offering a multiple-entry option. Participants highlight that while Savannakhet in Laos provides this visa, it now has added requirements, such as proof of 400,000 THB in a Thai bank account and the need for appointments, which complicates the process. One commenter raises a question about using a hotel as a guarantor in a related visa application.

Savannakhet was the only consulate in Laos that offered the multiple entry non-O visa for marriage they still offer it.
It was never on their website. What you do is write "multiple" on the top of the application where it says "single"
But people have mostly stopped going to to Savannakhet because they now require proof of the 400,000 in a Thai bank account which means there's not really any advantage to getting the visa in Laos vs just getting the extension in Thailand. Plus that consulate also requires appointments now and they can be difficult to get.

Savannakhet also requires two months seasoning in a thai bank for the multiple Non O based on marriage.
but you don't even need to travel to Savannakhet at all. Just apply for the "one year Extension of stay based on marriage with a Thai wife" on your Immigration, pay 1900.- THB and buy a multi entry permit for 3800.- THB. With this 1-year long stay permit you do not have to leave Thailand every 90 days, which you would need to do with a 365-days multi entry Non-Imm-O married visa
Savannakhet still does it but you need 400k in Thailand now, just like the extension and they require appointments (the multi-entry has never been on their website)
