Does the visa extension based on marriage have to be applied for in the last 30 days of the initial 90 day permitted stay or can it be done earlier?

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, you can generally apply for a visa extension based on marriage when you have 30 days or less remaining on your current Non-Immigrant entry stamp. However, some immigration offices, such as those in Phuket, Bangkok, Buriram, and Chiang Mai, allow applicants to apply for an extension when they have up to 45 days left. Importantly, the seasoning of funds is considered from the date of the extension application, not from the expiration of your current visa.

There are over 70 immigration offices in the country.
MOST allow you to apply for a year extension based on marriage when you have 30 days or less left on your current Non-Immigrant type entry stamp.
SOME (Phuket, Bangkok, Buriram, Chiang Mai, and a few others) allow you to apply for a new extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp.
Remember; in terms of seasoning of funds, it's 2 months from the date you apply for the extension not 2 months before the current stamp expires.

Done this 3 times. The 30 day consideration is part of your yearly extension. When you return after 30 days, the date stamped is one year forward of your application date not return date.
I don't meant to high jack the question but it is kind of a follow up to this one. I intend to ask when I apply for my extension on Chiang Mai, but perhaps you know so I can start planning a little earlier.
My understanding is I will get a 30 day under consideration stamp when applying for the 1 year extension based on marriage. My question is, if I apply say 30 days before my original non-o expires, will that 30 day under consideration be from the day I apply or be added onto the non-o expiration date? If from the day I apply, will that result in me essentially losing 30 days that I could've had by applying later? Or will the 1 year still be added to the non-o expiration date?
I'd like to go back to the US at the end of June, but my current stamp ends on June 19th. I really don't want to be in this yearly cycle where I have to be here in June and July in order to get the yearly extension.
Thanks for the info. So it seems if i have a stamp that is currently due on June 19th and I go in to get the 1 year extension on say May 20th, then the 30 day under consideration stamp will be dated for July 18th no matter what? Almost 60 days from the date I actually applied for the extension. Or is that something dependent on the officer?
I'm just trying to plan ahead for a trip and plans may need to change if I need to be in country on July 18th to close the loop on the under consideration stamp.
