What documentation is needed for a Non-O (Thai Spouse) visa application using the new e-visa system in Thailand?

Hi, I need to apply for a new Non-O (Thai Spouse) and it is the first time I have used the new e-visa system.

For proof of accommodation in Thailand would a copy of my wife's house registration book be enough (either a photo of the main page in Thai or a certified translation in English) or do I need my wife to write a letter?

Any advice greatly appreciated

TLDR : Answer Summary
For your Non-O (Thai Spouse) visa application using the e-visa system, a copy of your wife's house registration book combined with her ID should be sufficient proof of accommodation. While some respondents noted that they submitted applications without a letter from their spouse, including a signed letter could strengthen your application. Generally, the required documents include both passports, a marriage certificate, your wife's ID, and the house book.

Copies of her house book and ID should be fine when applying at the RTE London.

Assume you're applying from UK? I got my first non O marriage visa (90 day) back in September using the evisa site. Although they ask for a letter from your spouse I made the application without it. Just sent copies of both passports, the marriage cert, her id and village book.

Yeah what I was trying to open up in the documents I download, were well under the 3 mb. They were highlighted in the box’s, just couldn’t view them. Will keep trying. Cheers

hi I’m just applying for same visa type. When

You upload documents at at finish of visa. I can open passport page, photo. No problem, but when I try to open upload of marriage cert and declaration, it won’t open to look at it. Just wandering if you had same problem. Cheers

had all sorts of problems uploading docs on to that site, David. Main prob for me was size limit of photos. The acceptable size is stupid small. Some have said they grouped a load of pdf's together and sent them all or even used an app that worked. I'm not tech savvy enough for any of that so just reduced everything to stupid small so I was just looking at a "dot" but it seemed to work. Not sure if that's the same problem but I would suggest, if you've uploaded everything, give it a go sening it. They were very good, quickly letting me know if something wasn't quite right or needed further docs. Best of luck.
