Yeah it seems to be a common problem for most past volunteer visa holders. I went through a friend who has a personal contact in the elite office so it was a direct application. No agency. But it's immigration who makes the decision, not the elite office 😔

Thanks Charles. Yes I always use the max stamp days but extended only once in the last 6 months. Will extend my current stamp soon though to take me through to March.

Is there a limit on the number of times I can obtain a 30-day entry visa to Thailand each year?

I don't think there are any written rules but from my experience this year I've entrered 3 times in the past 5 months plus one extention and no questions asked on any occasion.

I didn't look at it like that but it makes sense 👍 But why the sudden end and scrutiny of the volunteer visas? Why not let those continue if the new dodgy business visas are the same deal?

I was offered this too. I wonder how long it'll take for someone official at immigration to catch on though like they did the volunteer visas. My Elite application was rejected so I'm sitting on the sidelines as a tourist for now and see what happens.
