did you make a appt before hand or walkin? The last extensions i reach CW at 8am to get a queue number just to enter to the counter that gives queue numbers for different sections....once get queue number for section L.... I waited until amost 10.30 to see the junior officer who runs tru your documents and tells you to wait for another call from senior officer if your documents are all intact
It's only after covid that creates this catch22 before covid one can open a bank acct easily with tourist visa (without agent) then apply for a retirement visa here in thailand.....
If you are over 50 get a nonO retirement 90days in your home country come to thailand and extend it for a year....how much time u want to spend in thailand is up to u....make sure u plan ahead to get your extensions every year
Many ppl get themselves nonO retirement visa but doesn't have to stay here all year or retire.....if you are less than 50yrs old consider applying for a DTV...it might still be a tourist visa but you have better chance of getting entry since you have been warned
just to share international licence is only good for 90days per entry....u need to go out and come back to have it valid .....thai licence is easy to get and it's better for protection interms of insurance
it's wise to have 2accts one for the immigration requirements and one for daily use you don't want to present a long statements to the immigration for your next extensions cheers
I'm not sure why u need to wait for one week....I have mine in 20mins (not counting waiting for queue) I've got just my nonO stamp and thai driving licence
assuming your extension last year was in August (1st 65k) and now you are doing your extension your 12mths covers only until July ...dont u need need statements for August as well? Or your 12x65k covers until July and u dont have to show the current deposit for August?
I always need to send funds to Wise before 9am in order to received funds sane day (working day) after 2pm....for statements I always get 7mths from the app and get a 6mths and letter from bank counter...they always say 12mth statements but it's actually 13mths for example when u apply for extension in August you need to have statements from August'24 to August'25
