I’m going to be applying for a tourist visa on Tuesday morning at the embassy in KL (as need to apply from outside the country.)
I’m on my last few days on an ED visa right now. On my stamp the ED visa expires on the 25th Jan but Tuesday (when I’ve got my application booking) is 23rd Jan. From what I understand no problem with that but want to make sure.
The school have assure me they will cancel the visa but as I interpreted from my previous question on this group this isn’t so important for tourist visas, only for long term such as another ED, business etc.?
Also, I know that KL is 2 working days including the day it is submitted. Does anyone know if the passport is ready for collection in the afternoon or morning? Or does it vary.
I am not sure if this question has been asked but I am a South African passport holder. I have had 2 x 30 day exempt entries into Thailand and one 30 day extension. Can I apply in Kuala Lumpur at the Thai embassy for a 60 day visa to come back? And if not will I be allowed back in on another exempt? I am sorry but I find the info on the Thai embassy website quite confusing. Thank you so much🙏
I entered Thailand on a 60 day tourist visa and had a 30 day extension. I am going to the Thai embassy in KL Malaysia to apply for a non immigrant B visa. You now have to wait 30 days. 1. Is your passport returned when applying? In South Africa your passport is kept when applying. 2. Can the fee be paid in Baht in KL? Thanking you in advance for your answers.
