What is the best option to staying that lit. Without a visa?

Can I leave the country and come right back before my 45 days are up?

I know you have heard this question many times but please can you help me? I'm from Australia and entered Thailand with no visa on 1st April which allows me to stay for 30 days before I have to depart. I will be in Koh Lanta and I would like to extend my stay for at least 2 more months. How do I go about doing this? What Visa will I need? Where should I go to get the visa? Any other helpful info will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance :)
