Hey all.

I'm entering Thailand on a Tourist Visa from the UK - 60 days that I'll extend a further 30 days. I'm not sure yet on where I'll be going next. 

With that in mind...

I was wondering what flight / onward ticket I need to show?

Does anyone have a cheap route they often buy or know of to satisfy the need of the airline / immigration officer?

Planning on doing the same. Entering with 60 day e-visa TR then planning to extend 30 days. I have an onward ticket after 90 days already, will that be ok if I tell the immigration officer i plan on extending, or will i still need to show an onward ticket for the 60-days?

Stuart has got this right. Checks prior to flights from N. America are more likely than from elsewhere, apparently.

You'll need a return or onward travel within 60 days to board the flight, also for Immigration but they rarely seem to check.

It will almost certainly be fine with immigration, but your airline may have issues letting you board without an onward flight.
