Question of Long Term lease (1 year) as proof of accommodation at Immigration when flying into BKK & DMK.
I've been reading when flying in I should have: 1) 20k baht cash minimum 2) proof of onward travel 3) proof of accommodation, in case I am asked.
When flying in on either a 30 day visa exemption, or a SETV (60 day tourist), will there be any issue showing a 1 year lease as my accommodation?
I wasn't sure if they prefer something like that or if that actually looks "bad" considering I'm a tourist. Or is it a NON ISSUE?
Info: I'm a US Citizen. I do not live in Thailand long term, and I do not work here etc. I travel around Asia a lot and it is nice to have a place to keep my stuff and apartments are cheap. I was told it is perfectly fine to rent a long term apartment on a tourist visa/exemption.
Example: in 2018 I was only here for 30 days on a visa exemption in January. And I've been in here again since Oct 1st on another 30 day exemption + extension until Nov 28.
I plan on spending a week or 2 in Cambodia and then coming back here on either a SETV or visa exemption.
Thanks in advance and sorry for the long winded question, just wanted to be thorough.
