Hey Guys
Tm30 reporting... i'm shortly changing residence from Saraburi to Chon Buri. Will stay in an AIRBNB for two weeks whilst I search for a long-term condo with a lease.
What's the likelihood of the Airbnb lodging a TM30? What if I reported my change of residence after finding my long-term condo and signing new lease and did so in the 24hour window?
Your collective wisdom will be much appreciated. Thanks.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the TM30 reporting requirement for foreigners in Thailand when changing residence, specifically when transitioning from an Airbnb in Chon Buri to a long-term condo. Community members advise that it is uncertain if the Airbnb host will file the TM30 report, and suggest that the individual can file it themselves within 24 hours of moving. It is noted that some regions, such as Pattaya, are strict with TM30 regulations. Additionally, there are concerns about the legality of Airbnb rentals shorter than a month in Thailand and potential enforcement issues.
