TLDR : Answer Summary
Expats looking for long-stay accommodation in Bangkok can utilize various resources to find suitable rentals. Recommendations include connecting with property agents, joining Facebook groups focused on renting in Bangkok, and exploring platforms like FazWaz, Hipflat, and RentHub. It's also advisable to directly visit condos to inquire about available units, especially in preferred areas near public transport like the BTS. Some suggest starting with short hotel stays to scout the housing market, while local advice suggests working alongside Thai friends to avoid scams. Typical rental agreements are for one year, often requiring a security deposit that may be negotiable.

See- with the nick name you have might won’t be a problem at all for you !555

Ok jokes apart-

It’s never a problem however long you stay: it’s just when you leave the drama or adventure starts! Accept it- we are foreigner ., at start , middle or end of your contract ! Anything happens we just have to admit and manage! In short it’s always smooth keep smiling and keep paying- once you stop - problem starts 😊

Also note that they will ask for 2 months security. Try to negotiate it down to 1 month because you’ll never get it back. They will already find something to justify keeping it.

I think important thing is find the area you like to live... like near BTS or which part of the city. Then you can just walk into the condo and most of them have office for you to inquire about rental. Most rental contracts are one-year, or two-year depending on the rent price.

Check out sites like renthub and hipflat, can then contact agents through there for places you like. Alternatively, use the site to find places you like and then go to the condos themselves and speak to the juristic office to see what's available.
