You can get a 12 month lease if you have the money. Some landlords will ask what you do and might ask for a work contract or proof of visa, but that hasn't happened to me.

Landlords don't care if you can stay the term of the lease or not, you just lose the deposit if you break the lease because you have to leave the country

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think even a visa-less tourist can get the lease 😅 Anybody can. Although it's up to the owner to choose who to rent for.
