Hey guys, drivers licence question.

Trying to find out how long I can get a licence for if on an education or even marriage visa. I'm hearing there are longer licences now for some.

I had a 5 yr Thai Drivers Licence which expired in May 2020. Could not renew it when it expired because of the pandemic.

I am returning back to Thailand in April with a 60 day tourist visa (staying 90 days) is there an easy way to renew my Thai License and any reliable agents peoples in this group can recommend.

I am flexible to go to any city to renew my license 🙏

Renewing a 5 year Thai driving licence used to entail watching a 1 hour video before the licence could be issued.With Covid restrictions I now believe you have to watch an on-line video and take a photograph of a page which is displayed at the end of the film to prove that you have watched it all. Does anybody know the URL to view the video. Thank you.

Just trying to confirm something. Since you can't renew a 2 year Thai license to a 5 year license unless you're on a non immigrant visa, can I renew my 2 year license for another 2 years? I mean actually renew, not simply reapply for a new license. Also is this even possible while on a covid extension? Thanks in advance.

What visa is required for thai motorbike license renewal?

Would it be possible to renew it on visa exemption or am I more likely to be successful if I first get a SETV? I did manage to get a replacement license (after losing my license) when I was in Thailand on exemption in April.

From what I can read at: [members only]/ it sounds like I need a non-immigrant visa and that not even tourist visa is enough. (Which seems a bit strange since I actually got the drivers license on a tourist visa and got a replacement when it was lost on a visa exemption)

PASSPORT WITH NON-IMMIGRANT VISA (ORIGINAL AND PHOTO COPY)

3.

ORIGINAL PRESENT RESIDENT ADDRESS IN THAILAND CERTIFY FROM EMBASSY / IMMIGRATION BUREAU (VALID FOR 1 YEAR) OR WORK PERMIT WITH ORIGINAL AND PHOTO COPY

4.

ORIGINAL MEDICAL CERTIFICATE (5 DISEASES FORM) FROM CLINIC OR HOSPITAL (VALID FOR 1 MONTH)

Does anybody know what’s required to get a new drivers license, especially regarding visa?
