The PM held a television address to the nation in which he said Thailand MUST fully open by October 14th. He said Thailand needs to take a "calculated risk" to protect people lives and livelihoods.

It's good to see Thailand moving in the right direction. I think if Phuket does open on July 1st, there would be no reason to doubt a full reopening by the end of October. We'll have to wait and see though.

May WE ALL give a BIG SHOUT-OUT to the Immigration officials on the front line? Many people get angry with them even though they are not policy makers. Every day they come to work in probably one of the riskiest environments during the COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand.
