I’m planning to return from Vietnam after a month. But who knows maybe I will fall in love with Vietnam :) 😄 Thank you Ned the best answer for all times!
if I had a 2-month entry and 1 extension this year they won't allow me to enter Thailand for example if I return after 1 month from another country next year.🤔 Previously haven't been in Thailand for 15 months
Maybe someone knows a good source of information about that. Because some say it is 90 days per calendar year another says it's 150 days per calendar year. Announcement thinks you can get two stamps per calendar year but immigration at Suvarnabhumi says you won't be allowed to enter next time only a 60-day stamp and a 30-day extension at immigration
yes that's correct but if you used those 60+30 this year logically it must be possible to use them next year again. Because as they said in one calendar year
Once per calendar year if you entered first time in 2025 then the second time you enter next year in 2026 it counts as a new calendar year and everything resets if I understand correctly….
, how do they count that per calendar year? For example, if I entered Thailand this year and received a 2-month entry stamp then I can extend 30 days once this year. After that, I leave the country for a couple of weeks and will come back next year so that counts as are new calendar year it is not the same calendar year anymore and I am allowed to receive a free entry stamp and 30 days extension because it will be the first time in one calendar year
I also have the same situation I entered this year first when I arrived in 2025 now I am planning to go to another country and then return to Thailand in 2026
