Hi, I was curious about the new DTV. For those that have been approved, can I ask what documents they provided for the proof of employment? My company allows me to work remotely, wrt an employee contract I have the contract I signed when I first started with them years ago, but I’m not sure if that’s what they’re looking for. Technically it says when I started with the company, but it’s not proof that I still work there.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
For those applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand, it is essential to provide adequate proof of employment. A signed work contract can suffice, but to strengthen your application, it is advisable to include an additional letter from your employer confirming your remote work situation. Some consulates might request that the contract explicitly states your permission to work remotely from Thailand. Additionally, some individuals have successfully included a recent tax return as supplementary documentation.

You can get one via a cultural activity or taking medical treatment. Length of time should be months and check with the relevant embassy their minimum length of time.

Can you get the company to "approve" the contract by putting a company stamp on it with a current date? I've also seen people using a recent tax return

A work contract should do. Some consulates require it to explicitly mention that you are allowed to work remotely (from Thailand). If you want to be on the save side, have your employer conform that with a separate signed and stamped letter.
