TLDR : Answer Summary
To enter Thailand on a student visa with a re-entry permit, you should present your passport along with your valid visa and re-entry permit at immigration. While there shouldn't be any issues as long as you have these documents, entry can be subject to the discretion of the immigration officer on duty.

You have a valid entry permit to enter Thailand. You “shouldn’t” have any issues but no one can guarantee you wouldn’t as it’s at the discretion of the individual immigration officer you hand you passport to.
Generally you just need to show your passport and visa/reentry permit.
