I'm about to finalise my Non O Visa with Retirement Extension.I hope to return to the UK in August. I know that I will need a re entry permit but will I need to have an onward air ticket also. Are there any other requirements? Do I need to report to Immigration when I return to Chiang Rai? Thanks.

If you're there just ask, if you need to report with TM30 after coming back from the UK. They know the best as every office enforce the rule different.

No, as soon as the Extension of Stay is stamped in your passport you can apply directly for the re-entry permit. Single Entry 1.000 Thb multiple entry 3.800 Thb.
