Big problem!,…went to Mae sot old friendship bridge today Friday, to do a border bounce and was informed by Thai imo that the mayanmar immigration stopped stamping you in/out of mayanmar just after songkran ! So my only option was/is to go over to Laos border or Mae sai, both 6 hour drives away, so after being back healed by the Mae sot border I didn’t want to have the same problem/rejection by the Mae sai immigration, I’m in Chiang khan at present pondering which option I have left,. Nong Kai or luang prabang, or is there another friendship bridge, my dilemma is my present 30 day stamp is up on 6 TH may (Saturday), any help or advise on my best option please,. TIA,.

I had worked on Non-B visa and work permit for 6 years in Bangkok. When I left the job, my boss took the work permit back stating he will cancel it. And I just flew back to my country. Of course on immigration they said I have a non-b visa and it will be cancelled if I don’t take re-entry permit and I did tell them that it’s ok.

My question is that if I try to apply non-B again in future would it be any issue? If yes, would there be any penalty as I didn’t deliberately go to immigration and canceled it?

Thanks,

Does anyone have a direct link Thai or English to the announcement in October that when the last Amnesty ended on 31st and you had a letter from your embassy then you could apply for a 60 day extension afterwards.

I remember one saying indefinite 60 day extensions until the borders returned to normal.

Thank you

Ok so here we go....

I have a non r religious visa that expires

nov 25th.

It was issued in korat... now i dont live there and haven't been living there for almost about 1 year. My new address is in chaing rai, i have been doing all of my 90 day reports here in chaing rai under my new address,

i would like to renew for another 1 year .

..immigration said that, in order for me to renew for another year, i need to cancel my non r from korat make it predated to the 25th of nov. and submit all supporting documentation from the New temple of residence by the 11th so chaing rai can issue a new non r according to the new address i live... is that right? Im confused to the max... i mean they know i live here i been doing all my check ups here in chaing rai, never in korat.... i dont want to have to leave thailand as thats a scary choice and might not be let back in!?
