Bank Acc for DTV !

Some people say that DTV visa holders can open a bank account by providing a medical check-up report.

Is this true? What do you think about it?

Hello, a couple of questions about DTV visa, first where exactly does it say I have to report anywhere? I have my first period for 180 days now and I must not do something stupid. And if there is a reporting somewhere there must be information about it right? Because I thaught I get dtv visa and can shill for 180 days. Many people say different but a lot of them I talked to are on retirement visa and other. Thanks for your time and hope to get good information.

Suggestions for getting 'medical clearance' for non-immigrant O-A visa? Does one have to take all the medical tests requested ... and there are many! I am in Oakland, California and will apply at Thai consulate in LA.
