Hello, a couple of questions about DTV visa, first where exactly does it say I have to report anywhere? I have my first period for 180 days now and I must not do something stupid. And if there is a reporting somewhere there must be information about it right? Because I thaught I get dtv visa and can shill for 180 days. Many people say different but a lot of them I talked to are on retirement visa and other. Thanks for your time and hope to get good information.

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you hold a DTV visa in Thailand, you are required to report your address every 90 days. This is a standard rule that applies to all foreigners (excluding LTR holders) and is confirmed by Thai Immigration Order #135/2567 (2024). You can report in person at an immigration office, by mail, or online (with the first report typically done in person). You should complete the report within 15 days before or 7 days after the 90-day mark to avoid fines. Additionally, leaving and re-entering Thailand resets the 90-day count.

IF you like to drive a car or motorbike, after 90 days in Thailand your national license in combination with your International Driving Permit are not longer valid.

You need a Thai driving license.

Just one of the things I never read on this page, only a lots of comments about a 90 day report.

requirement is based on Section 37(5) of the Immigration Act B.E. 2522. Specifically for the DTV, Thai Immigration Order #
********
(2024) confirms that DTV holders must follow these reporting procedures.

How to Stay Compliant

The 90-Day Clock: Your count starts the day you enter Thailand. If you stay for 90 days straight without leaving, you must report.

The Reset Button: Every time you leave Thailand and re-enter, the clock resets to zero. Since your DTV is multiple-entry, taking a quick trip abroad before day 90 means you never have to file a report.

How to Report: If you do stay past 90 days, you can report in person at a local immigration office, by mail, or online (though the first report often must be done in person).

Timing: You must report within 15 days before or 7 days after your 90th day. Missing this window usually results in a 2,000 THB fine.

A few days before you reach 90 days you need to report ton immigration office. You just fill out a simple TM47 on where you live and sign.

Costs nothing a you get another 90 days before report of boarder cross.

90 days report and that's for ALL FOREIGNERS (except for LTR). Basic universal immigration rule you should get to know before applying for a visa.
