DTV approved, sharing my experience.

I am an online therapist/development coach.

Submitted in Hanoï on the 3rd, approved today the 12th

I follow what Chat GPT told me to do and it was good advice. It wrote me the correct introduction letter and advised me what to put and to remove. Too many info can trigger questions. It read all my files and made me make some changes with real good arguments (that's why I followed it, not blindly of course).

Also I myself translated all documents and put the french and the translated version.

Hope this help

🎉 DTV Approved! 🎉

I just got my Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) approved today : Softpower Cooking class

Here’s my timeline:

📅 Submitted: 9th December (Paris)

📄 No Additional Docs Requested

☑️ Pending Approval: 30th December

✅ Approved: 2nd of January 7pm

Didn’t add any letter, just sent the minimum, exactly what they asked, not less not more.

I put Unemployed and under 20k per year earning, no problem.

Anyway thank you everyone for your help and hope I will help too by posting this 🇹🇭🙏

My husband, who is European just got DTV approved in UAE. He owns a company in Dubai and therefore holds a permanent residence card. He submitted DTV documents near the end of March when he left Thailand. He ended up providing them with 6 months of bank statements from a Thai Bank, as well as 3 months of statements from REVOLUT, his company registration papers in Dubai, Hong Kong, company profile, shareholder information, and a cover letter stating that he works online from Thailand, but travels all over Asia quite regularly on business trips. The original application included only basic info and screenshots so they came back to him 2x to ask for more financial information and company information. But it was approved very quickly after the supporting info was uploaded. He had previously been going in and out of Thailand every couple of weeks on visa exempt stamps for the past 3 years. Immigration told him to get a long term visa and they recommended the DTV for someone whose home base is Thailand but travels regularly for work. He's not the traditional online worker or influencer who receives a monthly salary so I thought this might help other people who are in a similar position.
