TLDR : Answer Summary
The border at Poipet, Cambodia, is currently open, but it is generally advised against using this crossing for a border run due to various reported difficulties, especially if traveling alone. The cost for the border crossing is around $30 USD. When crossing into Cambodia, you will need your passport. Upon returning to Thailand, you should present your passport and, ideally, a printout of your Thai Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) to avoid issues with the length of your stay, although some claim it's not strictly necessary. Using an authorized border run company is recommended to mitigate potential hassles.
šļø then. You don't need to spread fake news then.
You don't need to show any print out. Only online Visa for Cambodia they want a print out. And they want to see the exit stamp from Thailand. But you certainly don't need to show them a print out of your thai visaš¤£
The OP will need to show a print out of his METV on re-entering Thailand or he will only get stamped in for 45 days. B is returning to Thailand not entering Cambodia so the š is on you.
Poipet is open however the downside to it is thisā¦if you go as a lone wolf border bouncer you will most likely get denied and have to spend a few days in Cambodiaā¦if you go with an āauthorizedā border bounce company which costs extra money for their services then you will most likely have no problems doing a border bounceā¦.there are multiple reports on this at that border crossing
Sorry I donāt know the borders up there. I only see the horror stories coming from those that have used Poipet. Iāll let others suggest better alternatives.
