Longest time it took to get approved? Shortest time? Slowest/fastest consulate in the US? Chicago is the one I had to pick, I submitted my DTV app on 3/4 and I'm still waiting. What are differences between documentation required by US consulates for DTV?

Hi, I searched the group but limited information comes up in regards to applying through the US New York consulate. I will be back in the US for 4-5 weeks over the holidays and I would like to know the processing time for the DTV or if I should plan on applying somewhere in SE Asia when I return. Thank you!

I am an American, I am looking for the map or list that will show me the consulate that I need to apply for a visa. I know that the US is divided and I am not certain which one will handle the process.
