Just wanted to give a shout out to the Immigration office in Udon Thani regarding my 30 day extension following 60 day visa exempt. In and out within about 40 minutes, they were very helpful and spoke English well. I only had to give them 2000 baht, my passport and tell them where l was staying and they did all the paperwork and took my photo with no further questions asked. Job well done.

I was just denied my annual OA extension based on monthly income because I could not show that I have a pension or income in USA. I draw on my brokerage account which has a substantial amount. Is there any appeal process or will I need to put 800K into my account here and leave Thailand come back and apply for O VISA.

Here currently on a non o based on marriage

Obtained in US!

Stamped in to Nov 28th!

Plan to apply for 1 year extension 15 days before expiration on 90 day visa so that is Nov 14!

September 15th appears to be deadline to complete my required 400,000

60 days September 15 to Nov 14th!

Looking for expert advice to comment if my calculations make sense!

I understand I'm cutting it close, just realized the seasoning s connected to extension application, not the expiration of current visa!

Also would getting the 60 visit family visa be an option, if first option doesn't work ?

allowing me to apply for 1 year extension without having to reapply for the non o?

I'm hoping the first option is doable, but I will take the advice from the experts who are excellent at advising us with our questions!

Hi. Hopefully an easy question for someone. I am just working through the list of requirements for a yearly extension of a non o visa based on being over 50.Hopefully it all looks straight forward. The one thing it asks for passport, copies of each page. Does that literally mean every page of the passport. As it is a new passport that's an awful lot of photocopied empty pages. I shall be making the application at Udon Thani Immigration office.
