I went to Europe for holiday, I received 60 days. Can I get an extension for 2 months for visiting family or just the normal tourist extension please? Thanks 🙏

Asking this just to be sure as my dates are very tight so an error could be "fatal".

I'm on a SETV that I extended once already. Current stamp expires on Feb 11th, Sunday.

I will apply for an extension for "Visiting family", the extension that is 60 days.

I've booked a flight to my country on April 7th - fixed date, not on my hand to choose other date.

As that extension is not added to the current stamp but start counting on the day it's stamped, if I've done my calculations OK if I go for it on Feb 9th I'll have a new stamp until April 9th, right? Giving me enough time for my flight.

And, in the case anything was not OK (missing paperwork or whatever) and cannot resolve on the day, as my current stamp expires on Sunday, I could go on Monday 12th to resolve it, right?

Just want to be sure if my calculation is correct, and to confirm I can get that extension even if I had a 30 days extension already on my current SETV.

In case it's important, my immigration office is in Lamphun, and I know the paperwork I need (passport and copies, copy of Marriage Certificate, copies of tabienbaan and ID from my partner, everything signed, filled form and photo). I have already my appointment for Feb 9th.

Thank you in advance!

Decided to go with the 'visiting family' option for my extension over the (1st) Covid extension. I need a few more weeks for my 400k to have been seasoned for the 2 months and although I can only use it once I want to stay clear of the whole Covid thing/paperwork etc.

I'm already on a non o based on marriage so it makes sense and I've heard people being rejected for the Covid extension.

I'm owed it as I had to do my 2 weeks in Bangkok Quarantine in October but I just think it would make more sense and possibly a lot less hassle? 😅

Hey all, I hold Thai citizenship, does this open right to any kind of relative/dependant visa to my family members (parent or spouse or child)?
