Family with 3 kids here. We have coverage with Morgan price and they’ve been really great! No deductible and no hassle each of the the several times we’ve had to use it. Lots of flexible options in terms of what you want covered and where (just Thailand, Asia or worldwide).

paper you get from immigration to show that you “live” in Samui (not just a tourist). It’s apparently required in order to open a bank account here.
