I just did mine as an E-visa from Malaysia. As long as your employer has all the docs, the online process is really just about putting those documents in the right section. I often use agents for things but felt this one isn't really necessary.
Note: school will provide about 10 documents, applicantion will initially only ask for 2-3. There will be subsequent requests for some of the other documents which is a little inefficient but just calling it out so it's not a surprise.
These Electronic gates are awesome except for the fact that visa applications often still ask for evidence of a stamp. I look forward to the requirements/processes for the embassies catching up with the electronic gates.
Thank you both. Seems like i was given some dud info unfortunately. It happens.
I will arrange a re-entry and go to Malaysia next week to submit the application. Hopefully it all gets approved before my already purchased flights on 15th. I understand its usually about a 3-4day process so will keep my fingers crosses.
I earn in HK so won't pay taxes in AU. Im only a contractor for an AU company. I will pay myself a salary here but want to do it in the most efficient way
