File it under Everything else, Boss: How do y'all deal with jetlag in Thailand? It is 12 hours time difference between the East Coast and Thailand. On average, it takes me two weeks to finally adjust to BKK time after I arrive. A full month to adjust back to EST when I return. I hear people load up on Red Bull energy drinks ( guess that's how it become hugely successful) to adjust. I go there for the Nightlife. Take a siesta from 6 pm to 12 am everynight then wake up and go out and meet the hot femininas from Issan. Then sleep two hours in the early morning.

Hello! My husband and I will be visiting Thailand for 3 months starting January. Just wondering what vaccines, if any, you would recommend? Hepatitis A, Japanese Encephalitis, Rabies or?? We will be travelling to different areas of the country. Thank you!

Does anyone know of a place in Bangkok to get an antigen test to fly back to the US? Preferably not too far from the BTS. Thanks.

I’m hoping by this comes under the ‘everything else’ category! Myself and a group of friends have just returned from a fantastic three week trip to Phuket and the surrounding islands. During the last week there about half the group were bitten/stung. We are trying to identify what it could be. None of us saw or felt what bit us. The first time you are aware you have been bitten is when you notice a small blister. The blister grows in size over a few days and is incredibly painful until it pops. Some of us have been put on antibiotics as the bites got infected. Also seems to cause an upset stomach but this might just be a coincidence. The bite is not itchy - so not likely to be a mosquito or sand fly I think. Does this sound familiar to anyone??

Pre-Arrival PCR Test

I know that they aren't required now but it seems like a sensible thing to do given that there's still a test on arrival. I just tried to book one locally though and they are quoting £150 which is insane.

Any pointers towards providers who are not absolute bandits in the North West UK?
